Significance and iorny
Dramatic Irony- What a women really want through the whole prologue.
Situational Irony- The women is searching for her sixth husband but also wants to be in control which is unusual in that period of time.
Some significance in the story is that the knight was going to be beheaded but he came up with an excuse to let them have mercy on him, and let him make up for what he has done. The night marries the old woman to get her to tell him what he needs and once he kisses her. The old woman turns in to a beautiful woman and the Knight and the woman go on and live happily ever after. Women gain equal rights to the husbands.
